He lived in Chicago for two years, working as a juvenile probation officer. In 1972, he moved to Houston, Texas and matriculated at Texas Southern University, earning 30 hours toward a graduate degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Urban Studies. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He has a wife, 2 daughters, and 2 grandsons. He has contributed a wide variety of articles on the African Origin of Civilization and other related articles in many publications.
